Back in the ring, we had the undisputed ERA, with Adam Cole explaining that Pat McAfee and his group have even proven their venom, but that at WarGames they will destroy the group and prove why they rule NXT. Kyle O’Reilly, who has been very aggressive throughout the segment, has asked to face Pete Dunne in this NXT Ladder Match and wants to take back what he did to him.

Adam Cole closed the segment saying it will be a pleasure to destroy Pat McAfee and his group at War Games.

Behind the scenes we had Candice LeRae introducing her team to WarGames, who, as expected, will be “Poison Pixie”, Dakota Kai, Raquele Gonzalez and Toni Storm, who only explained that she warned when she arrived at NXT that now we would have seen a different side.

– KUSHIDA beat Timothy Thatcher: KUSHIDA and Timothy Thatcher opened the fight very slowly and technically as one would expect, with the Japanese fighter taking the lead in these first few minutes of the fight, at least until he was caught in a half a crab while on the ropes, on the other hand, balance proved to be the dominant note, with the two fighters determined to make the opponent surrender.

When Timothy Thatcher seemed to be in control again, he was distracted by Tommaso Ciampa, who was watching the fight outside the ring which opened KUSHIDA to create final momentum before applying the Hoverboard block and so you force Timothy Thatcher to surrender.

Then we had a file video package on the match that took place last week between NXT women’s champion Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley, where the Australian fighter admitted that she didn’t know her future.

Behind the scenes was Pete Dunne saying that yes, Kyle O’Reilly breaking Finn Balor’s jaw was impressive, but that both today and at WarGames, Undisputed ERA won’t stand a chance.

Back in the ring we had a special edition of the Kevin Owens Show which had North American NXT Champion Leon Ruff as a special guest who talked about how he signed up for WWE so recently that everything seems like a dream. Kevin Owens tried to pull Leon Ruff to show him more confidence because the fighters in the locker room will want to exploit his weaknesses.

Obviously Johnny Gargano arrived in the ring still unhappy for not being a champion and ended up accusing Damian Priest who also came to the ring to sting Johnny Gargano. The three continued to swap beards and it was when Kevin Owens, who enjoyed this segment, that if Teddy Long had arrived in the ring, he would have scored a Triple Threat among the three, there was no Teddy Long, but the GM William Regal who scored a Triple Threat for the NXT North American Championship for the WarGames between champion Leon Ruff, Damian Priest and Johnny Gargano.

The segment ended with Rhea Ripley trying to fight but was completely destroyed by the four fighters.

Then we had the old man take Boa and Xia Li to a warehouse. The two ended up asking for another opportunity to a mysterious identity who ended up painting their hands in desperation of the two fighters.

Back in the ring it looked like we were going to have an Ever Rise bout, but they were attacked by grizzled young veterans who wanted to make their mark on their return to NXT.

Pete Dunne defeated Kyle O’Reilly (Ladder Match): The Ladder Match between Kyle O’Reilly and Pete Dunne opened at 100 per hour with the two of them quite physical, mostly outside the ring and with the help of some scales.

Pete Dunne after an incredible fall from Kyle O’Reilly started focusing his attack on the left arm of the ERA member Undisputed. Kyle O’Reilly insisted on making the English fighter’s left leg his favorite attack target.

Ladders over time were used more and more as weapons and with both fighters wanting to destroy their opponent as quickly as possible.

The wear was considerable over time, but the aggressiveness of the two fighters remained high even during the last minutes of this main event. In the end the fight took place around a single ladder thinking of reaching the suitcase that guarantees an advantage in WarGames. It looked like victory would smile at Kyle O’Reilly, but a masked person stepped in and made room for Pete Dunne to win the match.
