WWE broadcast another edition of NXT on USA Network this Wednesday from the Capitol Wrestling Center, direct to TakeOver: WarGames this Sunday, December 6, and in competition with AEW Dynamite.

Before the first game of the evening, we saw Damian Priest arguing with Joaquin Wilde and attacking the Legado Del Fantasma fighter.

After a long domination, NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar managed to stop Damian Priest and thus, Legado del Phantom began to dominate.
After managing to isolate the “Archer” for several minutes, Damian Priest made the label to Leon Ruff who showed all his speed. Eventually Damian Priest was preparing to apply his Reckoning, but Leon Ruff did the blind day and applied to Frogsplash to Raul Mendonza to win the battle.
At the end of the fight, the two fighters argued with Johnny Gargano that he was protected by two gunas.

Then we had a file video package of the Undisputed WAS looking at everything that has happened to them in the last few weeks and how this has been the hardest phase of their NXT career, but it’s time for WarGames to destroy Pat McAfee’s team.

– Cameron Grimes of August Gray: August Gray tried to fight, but Cameron Grimes showed his greatest experience and turned the fight in his favor and won it Cave In. At the end of the fight Cameron Grimes sent an emphatic message to Dexter Lumis arresting him belt on August Gray and attack him, however it all went wrong with Cameron Grimes, as Dexter Lumis came to the ring and attacked his rival.

– Jake Atlas defeated Tony Nese: The two fighters started the fight in a very technical way that the young fighter got the better of. Tony Nese managed to put the momentum in his favor for a few minutes, but Jake Atlas has always been responsible for this feud.
Balance has always been the highlight of this fight and the two fighters almost won, but in the end Jake Atlas with his Cartwheel DDT won the battle.

After the game, Jake Atlas was interviewed and said he has his eyes on NXT crossweight champion Santos Escobar and that he will be the next champion.

Then we had the Kings of NXT come into the ring, with Pat McAfee saying he had no respect for Wrestling fans and also zero respect for Undisputed ERA and that their NXT segment was ridiculous.
Pat McAfee explained that this group was created for money reasons and that at WarGames they will show why they have been dominating NXT since they came to this. brand and that in TakeOver they will destroy the undisputed ERA.

Later we had images of Boa and Xia Li almost drowning due to the anxious gaze. The segment ended with the two taking a baton in the back.

Before the next fight began, the Imperium attacked Ever Rise claiming the team division belonged to them and then challenged the Grizzled Young Veterans to a match, a challenge that was accepted.
– Brizzled Young Veterans vs Imperium (Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner) in No Contest: The Imperium dominated this match, but the Grizzled Young Veterans managed to isolate Fabian Aichner and dominate for several minutes. When Marcel Barthel entered the ring, it turned the battle around.
The final minutes were extremely balanced with the four fighters giving everything to their team to win the fight, eventually the two teams were out of the ring and the Ever Rise approached the ring and attacked the two teams causing the disqualification and the end of this conflict.

Then we got another lesson from Thatch as Thatch Can, who had Thomas Ciampa in the ring against Timothy Thatcher’s will, the segment quickly fell into a brawl that “Psycho Killer” was dominating, until Timothy Thatcher’s pupil attacked Tommaso Ciampa from behind giving room for the very aggressive fighter to apply a Choke guillotine.

– Shotzi Blackheart defeated Raquel Gonzalez (Ladder Match): The two fighters started aggressively right from the start, trying to finish this Ladder Match as soon as possible. As you’d expect, scales were quickly introduced to combat and increased the aggression even more.

As the minutes went by, the two fighters began to focus on trying to win the match to gain an advantage for the War Games match and the victory almost smiled at both of them multiple times.
In the end Shotzi Blackheart and Raquel Gonzalez were out of the ring exhausted from everything that happened in this match, when Indi Hartwell with a straight went to help Candice LeRae’s team off the podium in an attempt to help “Big Mommy Cool. “and this help took effect, until NXT female champion Io Shirai appeared out of nowhere and transformed her brawl backwards.

All this confusion gave way to Shotzi Blackheart to climb the ladder and win this Ladder Match, thus giving his team an edge.
The episode ended with the four Team Shotzi fighters celebrating in the ring.
