Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to a new edition of “Friday Night SmackDown”, which will be opened by Universal WWE Champion Roman Reigns and his partner Paul Heyman. Reigns also shoots directly at his current “WWE Survivor Series” opponent, WWE Champion Randy Orton, slowly walking towards the ring. Once there, he explains that Orton is a perfect example of how one can respect a person’s achievements without respecting the person himself. He is interrupted by his potential opponent in the “Survivor Series” … Drew McIntyre! As Paul Heyman looks at McIntyre in shock, he enters the ring and faces Roman Reigns. Last time they met, Drew said he kicked Reigns out of the Royal Rumble Match to win the match. When Roman Reigns disappeared from the shows, took his place and defeated, I quote Michael Cole: “Heyman’s former clients” Brock Lesnar to “WWE WrestleMania 36” to crown himself WWE champion. He is on top and will prove it in the Survivor Series when he defeats Roman Reigns as WWE Champion.

Reigns agrees with the words of his counterpart, but adds that he is now back and is therefore undisputed at the top. This is relatively easy to explain, because no one is watching “Monday Night RAW” these days. All WWE fans tune in to Friday Night SmackDown to see Roman Reigns. For his part, Drew promises to beat Randy Orton, resume the WWE Championship and defeat Roman Reigns in the WWE Survivor Series. Jey Uso rushes into the ring and asks Drew why he’s in SmackDown. He’s put Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens in their place for the past few weeks and will do so today with Drew McIntyre. The two agree to a game for tonight before Drew knocks Jey to the ground. A Staredown ensues between Drew and Roman before Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Paul Heyman retire.

Backstage, Roman Reigns compresses his cousin Jey Uso. He makes it clear that he is the head of the family and that he takes care of his own business. Jey meekly promises that he will deal with this situation.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn arrives in the ring angry and explains that he learned just an hour before today’s show started that he was supposed to defend his title today. And this against Apollo Crews, a mighty 235-pound engine that has already held the WWE United States Championship. From time to time, WWE management puts obstacles in its way, but will take the opportunity today. He wants to talk about reigning WWE US champion Bobby Lashley, but is interrupted by the Apollo crews.

Sami Zayn (c) won against Apollo Crews via countout after Sami Zayn removed the ring apron and tied Apollo Crews to the ring frame.

Drew McIntyre chats backstage with Adam Pearce. Pearce makes it clear that he cannot set up an official match between a RAW and a SmackDown superstar. However, if Drew insists on a fight, he can arrange an unauthorized encounter. Beaming with joy, Drew accepts this offer.

Rey Mysterio, accompanied by his entire family, is questioned about today’s “Final Chapter” match against Seth Rollins. Rey today wants revenge for her family who become embroiled in the rivalry. Seth calls himself the Messiah, but in truth he’s just a devil. Today he will send Rollins back to Hell.

Let’s take a look at last week’s WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship match between Sasha Banks and Bayley. Then Banks gets up in the ring and points out that she has finally been able to defeat her curse by defending her title. She is currently at the peak of her career, which is why women in the locker room have to work hard to take over from Sasha Banks. She wants to say a few special words to Carmella, who attacked her after the title match, but is interrupted by Bayley, who runs into the ring. Sasha Banks doesn’t notice what Carmella looks like behind her. Another super kick and a facebuster ensure Banks stays with Carmella again.

We see Otis eating three servings of various favorite foods at the same time. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode tease Otis until he drops the table and … stays there. This interaction apparently leads to the following correspondence.

Seth Rollins and Murphy discuss today’s “Final Chapter” match between Rollins and Rey Mysterio, which Michael Cole says will be a no-holds-barred match.

Backstage, Otis tells himself he needs to stay focused to be as successful as he is today. Chad Gable comes by and wants to recruit Otis for his “Alpha Academy”. Otis also doesn’t seem against it.

The Final Chapter – No Holds Barred Match
Rey Mysterio (with The Mysterio Family) won against Seth Rollins (with Murphy) by pin after Eddie Guerrero Frog Splash. Before that, Murphy was completely amazing against Seth Rollins.

After the game, Angie, Aalyah, Dominik and Rey Mysterio celebrate the final victory over Seth Rollins while Murphy stands still on the Ringapron. When Aalyah tries to run to Murphy, she is stopped by Rey. He tells Murphy to enter the ring. He then holds out his hand, which Murphy gratefully accepts. Dominik also offers a handshake and Mama Angie immediately begins the attack of the family hug. The Mysterios celebrate the addition of the family together.

We’re in Adam Pearce’s office. Natalya arrives and wants to say something, but Pearce immediately interrupts her and informs her that she is in the Triple Threat Match to determine the next participant for Team SmackDown. Natalya makes it clear that she doesn’t want to play a match, but wants to join the team immediately. However, Adam Pearce explains that his match is next. When Natalya disappears, we suddenly see Chelsea Green next to Adam Pearce!

Natalya, Tamina and Liv Morgan reunited in the ring during the commercial break to play the recently announced Triple Threat Match. Before the referee can play the match, announcer Greg Hamilton informs us that this match is now a fatal four-way match. The fourth participant? Chelsea Green!

Liv Morgan won against Tamina, Natalya and Chelsea Green via pin against Tamina after a facebuster.

In the interview, Drew McIntyre shows himself ready for his unauthorized match against Jey Uso. It is especially embarrassing to be beaten in your own backyard.

Big E confronts WWE champions SmackDown Tag Team The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) backstage. They serve him several meals, but all are arranged in an L shape and are meant to signify the defeat of the New Days. Big E makes it clear that street profits are just New Day knockoffs at best before it disappears laughing.

Drew McIntyre won against Jey Uso via pins after the Claymore Kick.

– After about 13 minutes Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman arrived in the ring, which distracted Drew McIntyre. Jey Uso took the chance and pushed Drew into the ring. Roman then asked Jey to pay Drew for his shares today. Jey then covered Drew with a few punches before the Claymore Kick “out of nowhere” followed.
