After a postponement for improvements this week, the Blizzard Entertainment released the cinematic launch trailer for the game World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands.
Upon entering the Shadowlands, the champions of Azeroth they will find another world in disorder. Virtuous souls are mistakenly thrown into the eternal darkness of Maw, while Alliances – the mighty factions that control the disparate realms of the afterlife – face doom and conflict as the flow of essential soul from the Shadowlands mysteriously slows down.
As an ancient evil gathers the strength to break its chains, players must make their way through the unknown boundaries of the afterlife, making a pact with the Pact which aligns more closely with your principles and goals and ultimately restores balance in the afterlife.
Before the expansion launches, Azeroth will begin to bear the effects of the actions of Sylvanas during a special pre-launch event in the game: “Death Rising”.
This limited-time event will send players to the icy ruins of Icecrown, where the veil between worlds has been broken and the awakening of the Bane of the Undead heralds the riots of more sinister forces.
The “Death Rising” event is part of the major pre-expansion game update to prepare for the release of Shadowlands , which also includes a recently revamped leveling experience that takes players to the new Shadowlands 50, adding an epic introductory adventure for new players of World of Warcraft set on the damn island of Exile’s Reach, a series of class and skill upgrades in preparation for the expansion, and more. All of this can be seen on November 23rd.
