Singapore, 01 September 2020 – WOM protocol, a next-generation MarTech solution that enables brands to leverage word of mouth advice, today announced a partnership with leading crypto payment solution provider CoinPayments to promote new ways for users to spend and use tokens WOM.
The WOM protocol, along with the WOM token, provides a way to reward creators for recommendations without compromising consumer confidence in the content. All recommendations are authenticated via the WOM Authenticator app, allowing creators and authenticators to earn WOM tokens as users interact with content and make purchases.
CoinPayments, the largest crypto payment processor in the world, offers a diverse set of services for merchants and consumers, including a shopping cart plugin for all major ecommerce platforms including Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento. With this integration, WOM token holders can now spend WOM tokens on any e-commerce site that uses the CoinPayments shopping cart plugin.
