The price of Ripple (XRP / USD) decreased on Friday, despite having seen some positive action in the first session.
The third largest digital currency on the market recorded significant losses in some difficult negotiations on Thursday. The digital currency started the session at $ 0.374, which turned out to be its highest intraday. The currency left the mark of $ 0.37 in the early hours of the session, which marked the beginning of a sharp decline that led to an intraday low of $ 0.357. The coin eventually ended the session at $ 0.360, according to data from the Coinmarketcap digital tracker.
Ripple had a promising start to the session today, with its price rising to $ 0.364 in early trading. However, the currency rally sold out fairly quickly, causing XRP to lose all its first progress in the next trading. At the time of writing, the price of Ripple was below the value of $ 0.36.
Meanwhile, Ripple's market activity continues to be attenuated, as shown by the 24-hour volume of the currency. Yesterday, XRP recorded a daily trading volume of $ 438.8 million, which was significantly lower than the $ 543.2 million generated in the previous session. According to recent market data, approximately $ 427 million of XRP tokens have changed in the last 24 hours.
ZB.com remains the most popular destination for chain trading, having captured 12.2% of the 24-hour volume. Japanese cryptography platform Bitbank is in second place with a 7.6% share, while Binance is the third with 7.2%.
In today's trading, Ripple's price was $ 0.358, at 14:11 GMT. The digital currency has lost almost 2% of its value in the last 24 hours, shows Coinmarketcap data. The total capitalization of the currency is currently $ 14.6 billion.
