– According to PWInsider, Vince McMahon himself booked and produced Undertaker’s “Final Farewell” segment at the “Survivor Series” PPV. The WWE President and CEO is said to have taken care of every detail of the segment on Sunday, although Triple also had some influence on the implementation.
– The end of the first game between The New Day and The Hurt Business in the current RAW edition probably wasn’t planned that way. So this match shouldn’t end with a double counter-cut, rather the plan was for a counter-counter-attack win for Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. Shelton Benjamin did not get to the ring in time and as referees are still required to lead matches as a shot, the referee quickly counted both teams.
– We have already reported that the original plans for the “TLC: Tables, Ladder & Chairs” PPV included a match between Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman for the WWE Championship. On Monday, however, Strowman was ultimately not admitted to the tournament for contention number 1, but rather suspended until further notice after an attack on Adam Pearce, according to the plot. According to Dave Meltzer, there are currently rumors that Strowman’s knee injury could be the reason for this booking. As a result, the tournament was a last minute decision to find an opponent for Drew. If Strowman were to be able to compete in the last WWE PPV of the year, it is likely that he will still be booked for the title match.
– Fit Finlay and Shane Helms have been hired as producers by WWE after receiving a leave in April as part of major austerity measures like many of their peers. While Helms was back in action for the first time last Sunday in the “Survivor Series”, Finlay worked again for the first time on yesterday’s NXT edition.
– In keeping with the argument, PWInsider reports that “205 Live” star Brian Kendrick was most recently a producer for NXT at the Capitol Wrestling Center.
– For the “NXT Takeover: WarGames 2020” special on December 6th, four games have been announced. The focus is obviously on the two games of WarGames and in yesterday’s NXT edition, Pete Dunne ensured the Kings of NXT the advantage with a win over Kyle O’Reilly. Candice LeRae’s team has also been determined, with Toni Storm, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez joining Candice. The Shotzi Blackhearts team members are not yet officially known, but it can be assumed that they will be Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai. Shotzi will face Raquel Gonzalez in the lead at NXT next week.
Furthermore, Leon Ruff (c) vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Damian Priest for the NXT North American Championship and Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes made two more matches for the official “NXT Takeover: WarGames 2020” in a match match.
