In 1979 he directed his first film, El Chanfle, linked to the El Chavo del Ocho series. And in that same year he directed Odisea Burbujas, another television series and later El treasure of the saber, both series were aimed at children.

In 1984 he directed the series “Hola México !!!”, the telenovela “Te amo” and “Sí, mi amor”. In 1986 he directed and produced the telenovela Ave Fénix ‘. During his later years, he received great job offers, but turned them down due to the number of job offers he already had on the list.

According to BBC Mundo, Florinda Meza revealed in an interview with TV Azteca in 2015 that she was close to joining her life with Segoviano before relating with “Chespirito”.
