Enrique Segoviano is a naturalized Mexican actor, director, producer and screenwriter, recognized for being the director and producer of the program “El Chavo del 8” and “Chespirito” between 1973 and 1978.

The television producer was hired by Roberto Gómez Bolaños in 1972. When he started with his television productions, it was he who was in charge of directing them and making all the special effects.

In 1973, when the El Chavo del Ocho, El Chapulín Colorado and Chespirito series premiered, he was their director and producer, holding his position until 1978, when he was moved for unknown reasons. These were the productions that made him famous and Roberto Gómez Bolaños took his place.

In 1979 he directed his first film, El Chanfle, linked to the El Chavo del Ocho series. And in that same year he directed Odisea Burbujas, another television series and later El treasure of the saber, both series were aimed at children.

In 1984 he directed the series “Hola México !!!”, the telenovela “Te amo” and “Sí, mi amor”. In 1986 he directed and produced the telenovela Ave Fénix ‘. During his later years, he received great job offers, but turned them down due to the number of job offers he already had on the list.

According to BBC Mundo, Florinda Meza revealed in an interview with TV Azteca in 2015 that she was close to joining her life with Segoviano before relating with “Chespirito”.
