[ad_2][ad_1]

The World Gaming Executive Summit brings together industry leaders from around the world, discussing the major issues facing the gaming industry. Featuring over 100 C-level speakers, live panels, 1-to-1 virtual meetings and presentations, the event aims to inform and educate about the latest developments in gaming technology.

The 2020 event features a roundtable discussion on blockchain games, specifically looking at issues affecting those entering, or considering a move, the blockchain gaming space. Entitled “What Should Gaming Companies Be Wary of When Entering the Blockchain? What is stopping the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies in games? “The session will also look at current barriers to mass adoption of digital currencies in the gaming industry.

The discussion is scheduled for day 1 of the virtual conference, bringing together some of the brightest minds in digital currency and blockchain gaming to discuss relevant issues affecting the industry.

Moderated by reporter Becky Liggero-Fontana of CalvinAyre.com, the discussion features Lloyd Purser, COO of Funfair Games; Phillip Runyan, founder and CEO of Hold Gaming; and Matthew Dickson, co-founder and CEO of BitBoss.

“I think it’s incredibly important for the gambling industry to take notice of blockchain technology and understand its true potential compared to what they see in headlines and social media,” Fontana tells CoinGeek. “During this panel, we will cover a whole spectrum of topics, including the reputation issues surrounding blockchain and digital currencies, blockchain for payments, usability, regulatory barriers, how to choose the right blockchain and incremental change from to wholesale. I am grateful for the opportunity that WGES has provided to the gambling industry in hosting this session and for the brilliant minds who will share their experience in the panel, this is not to be missed! “

The session takes the form of a free-flowing discussion between the speakers, each of whom is currently engaged in blockchain-based games. The discussion aims to cover the issues that interest those who are considering the development of blockchain-based games, with particular attention to the potential pitfalls for those entering this new and emerging market.
