Last week Michael Wendler reported on Instagram with a couple photo and at the same time announced in his story that he would be back on November 3. What should this return be like? Not clear. Some were expecting new conspiracy narratives, others with new music, and the next with a turnaround. And without a doubt: Wendler wants to retreat from retreat, at least on one level.

In his video, posted on Instagram November 3, US Election Day, Wendler (dressed in Trump red, by the way) talked about Election Day and the prevailing euphoric “optimism” he claims to be Trump I owe it. He believes what has been discussed in the media about Joe Biden and his family in recent days will have an impact on the election result. But that’s probably not what fans care about. Wendler even admits in his story that he made mistakes, something you don’t even know about Wendler, who is always convinced of himself. Especially in regards to his former home and RTL farm station, he rows back and even apologizes:

Wendler tackles the subject of “DSDS” again in his video and explains that he feared a second block weeks ago and has spoken openly with those responsible for the format. Why did he care so much about a second block? This is due to the experiences of this year’s “Let’s Dance” season. Because then the first block went into effect and from now on he and Laura were put “like a dog in the street”. The hotels were closed and with no fixed place to stay in Germany, the couple had a hard time. He didn’t want to experience it a second time. The sensation “destroyed” him.

Perhaps he could have avoided the dispute with RTL if he had spoken to the broadcaster, but he missed him, he points out and apologizes again. And then Wendler turns the corner with a big announcement:

Because he hasn’t said goodbye to his Telegram channel yet. Instead, even after a short hiatus, he shared contributions from other questionable Corona critics.

But RTL doesn’t play this conciliatory game of the reality star. The company posted a brief comment on the subject on Twitter. “There are so many important topics like #Vienna, #Corona, #ElectionDay … Wendler’s Instagram story is not one of them”, writes RTL.

This response is well received by Twitter users. Several voices ask the broadcaster not to give even a platform to Michael Wendler in the future.
