Weiss Ratings is a private company that offers research and auditing services for individual and corporate use. The company published a list of 93 digital currency assessments in May 2018, with Bitcoin (BTC), Cardano (ADA), EOS (EOS), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM) and TRON (TRX) emerging at the top.

On October 11, 2018, Weiss Ratings asked its Twitter followers to participate in a survey that was after determining the best currency to buy below $ 1. Later, the agency announced survey results through their Twitter page where members' followers were invited to participate in the survey.

5.726 followers, almost half of the company's followers, took part in the survey. The results reflected a positive view of the Twitter community towards a rather controversial digital currency that has not received much clamor in cryptographic space because of its fundamental philosophy.

The agency had provided the participants with four options. Ripple emerged with 64%, Cardano (ADA) was the second choice with 25%, Stellar Lumens (XLM) came in third place with 8% and IOTA recorded only 3% of the votes Total.

These survey results indicate the growing acceptance of Ripple between people and companies globally. Ripple supports other digital currencies having its importance felt in traditional trading systems through the provision of various platforms and software choices to users.

The result of the survey also echoes the value of XRP, the Ripple cryptocurrency in the domain. Recently, XRP has dethroned Ethereum in third place, as far as market capitalization is concerned.
