The match is expected to be played from 4 to 6 December, from 11 to 13 December and from 18 to 20 December, taking into account the current situation.

“The programming of the catch-up games is also scheduled for December,” reads the message.

At the moment all regional leagues can train. However, the seven clubs from Berlin and Germany Halberstadt cannot play league matches before 1 December.

Initially, the NOFV hoped to be able to start playing again next Wednesday (reported by TAG24).

Maestro Lok Leipzig had so far requested a continuation of the season in January and addressed the NOFV on Thursday with an open letter (reported by TAG24).

In it, the club formulated questions for the association on how to deal with the crown crisis, such as test funding, ghost game compensation payments, and financial aid from politics.

Lok asked the NOFV for a written response.

As the MDR reports, the reboot may fail due to the veto of the Berlin authorities. The regional football championship should therefore only be possible again in the capital when the crown numbers have significantly decreased. Infection control regulations currently prohibit gambling.
