The Jonas Brothers shared a special video with lyrics for their new holiday song “I Need You Christmas”, with home videos and personal photos never seen before. You can check it out below.
Jonas Brothers began their conquest of Christmas with the release of last year’s lively original song “Like It’s Christmas,” which reached number 1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, becoming a fan favorite and a mainstay of Holiday playlists .
Since last year, “Like It’s Christmas” has already garnered over 130 million global streams as well as praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, is Vulture who said: “With all this success coming back, every day for the brothers feels like ‘Christmas’.” The band recently performed “Like It’s Christmas” for the first time on Netflix Dash and Lily, produced by Nick Jonas.
After a six-year hiatus, the Jonas Brothers took the world by storm in 2019 with the surprise release of their critically acclaimed and hugely successful single “Sucker”. The triple platinum single debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the band’s first number 1 and the group’s first number 1 debut this century.
The band continued to release Chasing happiness, an Amazon Original movie documenting the rise of the brothers and the return to music, before giving their third debut album at number 1 with the release of their platinum album Happiness begins (Republic Records). The band continued to grow with the sold out ‘Happiness Begins Tour’, with over 1.2 million tickets sold.
Additionally, the album garnered the band a number of awards, including three awards for “Top Duo / Group”, “Top Radio Songs Artist” and “Top Radio Song” for “Sucker” at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, a MTV 2019 VMAs for “Best Pop Video”, “Best Duo / Group” at the 2020 iHeart Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards including their prestigious “Decade Award”, as well as numerous American Music Award nominations, a coveted nomination for Grammys and more.
