Bratislava, Feb 12 (TASR) – The ban on visits due to the increased incidence of acute respiratory diseases applies to several hospitals in Bratislava. The Regional Office of Public Health of the Capital of Bratislava informs him on his profile on the social network.
The visiting ban applies to the long-term hospitalization ward at the Bratislava University Hospital (UMB) in Ružinov and the UMB gastroenterological clinic in Petržalka. It also applies to the National Institute of Oncology and the National Institute of Pediatric Diseases of all wards until further notice.
The Public Health Office announced on Friday (February 9) that a flu epidemic had broken out in Slovakia. Nearly 19,000 people got the flu last week. Compared to the previous week, the number of patients increased by 15.3%.
