The historical drama Vikings, must deliver to fans the second wave of episodes of the sixth and final season of the series, production of which is halted.
Recall that the production of the final episodes of Vikings stopped in March due to the block generated by the coronavirus pandemic. So far, the whole picture is uncertain, regarding the release date or the restart of production.
Viking fans witnessed Lagertha’s death (Katheryn Winnick), during the development of the first part of the last season 6. However, a scene deleted from the drama seems to have heralded his death.
In this sense, Gunnhild, (Ragga Ragnars) knew that Lagertha was going to die. In Vikings, Lagertha was stabbed to death by Hvitersk (Marco Ilsø), believing that his body on the ground was a snake.
It turns out that in a deleted scene from the first part of season 6, which is included as an additional feature of the series History channel, Vikings, Lagertha appears to be telling Gunnhild that her death is imminent.
Instead, the Vikings episode which aired to fans via the History Channel, viewers saw Lagertha visit Gunnhild to greet him before leaving for Kattegat. At the time, Lagertha refused Gunnhild’s company, but explained why.
In the original extended scene of that Viking episode, Lagertha explains to Gunnhild why he cannot accompany her on her journey, suggesting that her death was near. Therefore, Lagertha’s death was predicted in the series, and the fans did not see her.
