Medical follow-up with the patient and the donor
Dr. Suad Sajwani, a consultant nephrologist, explained that the operation, which took 5 hours and 50 minutes, was successful and the condition of the patient and the donor became stable, after laboratory tests showed that the new kidney functioned well and no infections or complications appeared, and after the operation the patient was transferred to the ICU. For careful monitoring and transfer of the donor to the general surgery department for follow up, they left the hospital in good health after all tests showed that vital signs are functioning normally and we will continue to follow them according to the approved medical protocol .
