In Valicon they measured the attitude of the Slovenian population towards vaccination against covid 19, when it becomes available. More than half of the citizens do not intend to be vaccinated, 25% of Slovenes certainly do not intend to be vaccinated. Certainly 16% of Slovenians are expected to be vaccinated.
Reasons given by those intending to vaccinate included responsibility (50%), caution (45%), risk groups within the family (32%), health system overload due to covid (26%), and other personal reasons. (22%) – Respondents were able to indicate several reasons for vaccination.
Also, those who do not intend to get vaccinated. The reasons given for this decision are: distrust of the vaccine (61%), fear of side effects (41%), it makes no sense to vaccinate because the virus mutates (30%), they are not a risk group (26%) and in general I don’t trust vaccines (23%)
Those who are more in favor of vaccination are those who are more medically attentive, those over 60, and those who have had a covid infection in their vicinity 19.
