Langer finished his first round at Augusta National Golf Club with 68 strokes, setting his personal best. The 1985 and 1993 Masters Champion played all his experience with six birdies. In his previous 36 Masters opening rounds, he was only able to achieve this in 1993, the year of his second Masters triumph.
Second round a bit weaker
