UFC 255 live scores, updates and highlights from Deiveson Figueiredo against Alex Perez

Two championship fights highlight UFC 255 on Saturday from UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

UFC 255 stops Saturday night from UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nev.

Two flyweight title fights top the list as Deiveson Figueiredo puts the belt in play against Alex Perez, number 4, in the main event of the show. The co-main event features Valentina Shevchenko defending her women’s title against Jennifer Maia number 3.

Figueiredo won the belt in July, plowing Joseph Benavidez by submission in the first round to win his first world title. The Brazilian was poised for his first title defense with Cody Garbrandt. But in October, Garbrandt tore his bicep and was withdrawn from the ballot. The UFC didn’t have to look too far as Perez was already on paper against Brandon Moreno.

Perez entered the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series. He made the most of his opportunity by going 6-1 with four of those stoppage wins.

Will the dominant champions be able to successfully defend their belts or will the challengers unleash the turmoil?
