And Russia is drifting further and further away
With Russia (three defeats and only one victory in this European week) drifting further and further, Portugal strengthened their 6th place in the UEFA rankings thanks to the draw for FC Porto and the triumphs of Benfica and Sp. Braga.
And with the qualifications of the three national teams, France’s approach to 5th place could become a reality, also because the French, for now, have only surpassed Lille: Nice in the Europa League no longer had a chance.
