While it is currently possible to apply the dark theme to Office applications, it is not a consistent theme and a true dark mode is already being tested in the beta channel of the application which we show you exactly how it is.
Now that we do telework to a greater extent or are immersed in all your college projects, you surely use the Microsoft Word application on your laptop on many occasions and when you stayed the night working on it you missed that there was a really consistent dark mode.
And is that although the option to activate the dark theme is already present in Office, if we activate it it is applied to specific sections of each of the applications.
For example, if you apply the dark theme to Word right now, it appears in the options area and some other areas and little else. But thanks to the real dark theme already tested on the beta channel Dark mode can be applied to the entire document area, the status bar, and virtually anywhere.

Twitter user Florian B demonstrated this, emphasizing it Microsoft is working today on full compatibility with the dark theme for Word on the desktop, so that once available you can apply it to the entire application in each of its areas.
At the moment the full dark theme is only available in the new beta version of the application, which could end up hitting the production channel throughout December.
As can be seen from the image shared by the user, we see a dark mode that affects practically the entire application except for the font styles that have been kept blank, at least in this preliminary version.
