Tron (TRX) weak response to recent troubles and failures

  • TRON replies to the former BitTorrent executive

cryptocurrency
the TRON project has seen a good deal of criticism in the last two days,
mainly due to two major emerging disputes relating to cryptocurrency.

The first controversy
he was tied to a former BitTorrent executive, Simon Morris, a passing man
almost a decade at the company as Chief Strategy Officer, who proclaimed
that the TRON blockchain is in no way capable of handling transaction volumes
necessary tokenize BitTorrent. If you remember, BitTorrent was previously
acquired by Justin Sun, creator of TRON, and recently became public with their own
plans to create a native TRON token resource called BTT.

"It was very clear
when I was [at BitTorrent] that there was no way the transaction capacity of
Tron would do it [work]. The transactional capacity of us [were] looking at hundreds needed
one second transaction only to start. Simply there is not. You hear
all the crap out there, oh, this does 10,000 transactions per second. It's all shit. We were going
dissolve Tron. Destroy literally, "
commented Morris in a recent Breaker
interview.

He then continued to paint Justin Sun as "young", "scrappy",
and like someone who does not want to listen to advice. He also describes it as someone
who is very good at marketing and as someone who "does not have a technical bone
in his body. "Morris left BitTorrent in July, when the acquisition became public, after concluding that" the path to construction
any kind of relationship of trust with those responsible [at Tron] watched
completely impossible. "

Is the Exodus portfolio a good solution for storing your crypt?

Since then TRON has published an answer to this article with what
a Reddit user called "a tremendous non-response". Acknowledging that Mr. Morris
"He got it right" in his interview – the "tremendous potential" of TRON – they take their leave
his claim that their blockchain will not be able to handle BitTorrent.

The answer was made via a post from Reddit by Justin Sun himself
he suggested that the project will take a "hybrid" approach to the issue, creating
a private high-performance (and probably centralized) side chain that will manage
most of the cargo and then the transactions of the shops on the public blockchain of TRON.
Interestingly, Morris suggested that TRON could implement a similar solution
to this in his original interview:

"I suspect what
they will do it, they will do it on a central server, they will
shake hands and say, 'Oh, it's a network of lightning for Tron & # 39; or
something, and pretends it's based on Tron, but it's not based on Tron. "

  • TRON
responds to the controversy of the TRON Accelerator program

The second controversy
came after several "fish" details on the developer support of Accelerator TRON
the competition has been exhibited
on line. The competition ended a couple of days ago and several glaring issues have swum
up to the surface. From the prizes changed after the end of the competition, over
clones of winning TRX applications while the original applications have not won anything,
almost no information existing online on the Grand Winner of n
prize of $ 200,000, there were some questions to answer the project.

TRON took over this task with his well known scornful tone, defining the above FUD details even before they faced the real charges. Citing their desire to provide transparency, they responded to several popular community questions about the TRON Accelerator program. But not before adding a declaration of non-responsibility that is the first time that "they organize a competition with such a high traction", which implies that they should be given room for maneuver in this whole situation. After some additional information on the expansion of the team for relations with developers, the main problems were finally addressed:

They changed the prizes after the end of the competition

TRON explains that this was done due to a large number of quality projects applying for the competition. In the end the pool of winners was readapted from 56 to 108.

They allowed the clones to win but not the original clone on TRX

After listening to community input, the project in question – TRON Anthills – was removed from the competition and withdrew its $ 1000 reward.

Take a look at our review of the Cobinhood platform.

They allowed competitors to win those who did not meet the criteria (being on the mainnet); They allowed projects that are not open source to win; The Grand Winner is a mysterious project with little information available

TRON explains that it was not required to be open source to participate in the competition. They then explained how the "Grand Winner" project, STO's token team, made a mistake; apparently they published as they won the first prize of $ 200,000, when they actually only won $ 20,000. While STO remains a stealthy project, TRON has reassured the community that it has the utmost confidence in the capabilities of the project. In the end they admit they gave the projects more clemency when it comes to being on the mainnet after realizing it was "ok" for some projects.

There was a "projection" before the dApps were handed over to the judges (by whom? According to what?) One of the judges did not have the final results, but the e-mails were sent claiming that all the prizes had been announced

TRON suggests that a pre-screening was performed by several team employees as there were too many projects to be analyzed in a very short time. The projects were then forwarded to the competition judges who only had 17 hours to judge the winners of the competition. The team admits to having done a bad job in planning the deadlines of the competition.

They have not published a public list of winners

After describing their voting procedure on the winners of the competition, the TRON team revealed that many projects are still being checked in the background. This process should be completed by the eve of January 14thth; this is when the project will send confirmation emails to each winner and announce the complete list on their social media.

Some obvious ponzi games have won prizes

TRON replied briefly here:

"We do not
discriminate the dApp games category, focused only on the evaluation criteria 🙂 "

IEX-NoAverageJoe redditor added
the general feeling of the community:

"Personally I do not know
I think it was wise to adapt the conditions of the competition. This creates trust
problems with potential developers. I am not an agreement to allow and then to reward
Ponzi schemes through the competition. I see the prize has been canceled
TronAnthens that is good. But they should not have come this far to begin
with. We hope that we will see them perfecting the race and that we do not see it
the stipulations have changed so late next time. "

Others were not so lenient in the project, comparing it with
a castle of cards and detector
the details on the TRON codebase are littered with errors. The project has done
It explains a lot but the important details remained unanswered, especially those concerning
TRON basically lying to its developers about the cash prize. What is clear is
that Justin Sun and the team have not done much favors with these recent ones
failures. It remains to be seen how the project will recover in the future.
