Traffic laws. Article 99 – Promoter

Article 99

(1) The following acts committed by natural persons will constitute fines and will be sanctioned with a fine provided for in class I of sanctions:

1. driving a motor vehicle unjustifiably with a speed of at least 10 km / h below the mandatory minimum limit established on the respective road section;

2. failure to comply with the obligation to report the maneuver to change direction of travel;

3. non-observance by pedestrians of the rules on circulation on public roads;

4. non-fulfillment of the obligation of the owner or user of the vehicle and of the agricultural or forestry tractor to request the document certifying the damage caused to him in circumstances other than a road accident;

5. non-observance of the rules on traffic on public roads by the heads of military columns, authorized organized groups and processions;

6. non-observance of the meaning of the intermediate light signal in the form of one or more yellow or white arrows pointing downwards to the right, which announces the change of the green signal in the case of reversible traffic strips;

7. driving a damaged vehicle within 30 days from the date of issue of the document certifying the damage;

8. failure to comply with the obligation for the passengers of an agricultural or forestry vehicle and of a tractor to wear the approved safety belt or safety devices while traveling on public roads;

9. failure to comply with the obligation on the part of the person transported on a motorcycle or moped to wear an approved safety helmet while driving on public roads;

10. failure to comply with the obligation of the vehicle driver to leave the tram path free when it approaches, when the road has only one lane;

11. non-observance of traffic rules by animal drivers;

12. failure to comply with the obligation to affix the distinctive sign on agricultural or forestry vehicles and on tractors driven by persons under the age of one year from the acquisition of the driving license;

13. release of the steering wheel, handlebar or control lever of the vehicle while driving;

14. non-compliance by passengers or passengers of their obligations when they are on board the vehicles;

15. failure to observe the meaning of the yellow color of the traffic light;

16. driving a vehicle whose plates or plates are damaged, dirty or covered with ice or snow which may prevent identification of the plate or plate;

17. driving a vehicle on which registration or registration number plates, plates or other devices that do not allow the reading of the license plate are applied or the plates do not correspond to the standards in force;

18. driving on public roads of a vehicle with technical defects, other than those provided for by art. 102 para. (3) lit. b), or which is missing one or more elements of the body or is visibly damaged.

(2) The fine for contravention provided for in par. (1) also applies to the driver of a motor vehicle, agricultural or forestry tractor or tram who performs an act for which 2 penalty points are applied, pursuant to art. 108 para. (1) lit. a).
