It is possible that the substitute for center and full-back is already there: Tanguy Nianzou. The 18-year-old Frenchman was on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain before this season but has yet to play for Bayern due to injuries.
That the lanky defensive all-rounder is called upon to do bigger things is evidenced by PSG manager Thomas Tuchel’s sadness at his departure. “It was not the time for him to leave the club.
