What there was to fear has happened. Three residents of Damazan’s dependent elderly accommodation facility (Ehpad) have died from Covid-19 since Monday and the revelation of the virus among residents and staff of the facility.
Six establishments interested
The regional health authority also confirms that 37 people tested positive as well as 18 agents.
Three residents are still hospitalized. Mortality in nursing homes could well see an increase as ARS indicates that at least six institutions have clustered cases of Covid-19 to date.
