Not one, not two, but three new Macs have been announced. The 13-inch MacBook Pro, also revamped last spring, will receive a boost from the M1. Shruti Haldea, Mac Product Line Manager, showed us the most affordable MacBook Pro.

With the 8-core CPU inside, you can expect up to 2.8x faster performance across the board. The 8-core GPU is up to 5x faster in applications like Photoshop and games. Compared to comparable Windows laptops, it is up to 3x faster. The 13-inch MacBook Pro also weighs only 3 pounds. Apple has optimized its applications for faster machine learning activities, thanks to the internal neural engine.

Inside is an active cooling system that includes a fan. It appears that only the MacBook Air will remain fanless. The 13-inch MacBook Pro offers up to 17 hours of wireless Internet and 20 hours of video playback. It’s the longest battery life ever seen on a Mac laptop.

For the creative and productive alike, the studio-quality microphone array is built in. We tested it on 16-inch MacBook Pro and 27-inch iMacs, which provide better clarity with audio. Touch ID and Touch Bar are also located above the Magic Keyboard.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro will keep the starting price of $ 1,299. Education customers can get an additional $ 100 discount.
