15 years old and already a millionaire. Football prodigy Youssoufa Moukoko is already cashing in at Borussia Dortmund ahead of his professional debut. But neither are the sponsors spoiled.

The time has come on Friday: BVB child prodigy Youssoufa Moukoko celebrates his 16th birthday and will be able to play in the Bundesliga with immediate effect. The world of football eagerly awaits the professional debut of the prodigy. The German national team player has taught several youth leagues how to fear in recent years and has scored a staggering 192 goals in 123 youth games.

Even though Moukoko hasn’t played a minute of professional football, he’s already earning like the greats. Or at least almost. As reported by “Bild”, the German-Cameroonian collects about 350,000 euros a year from BVB. However, his salary is expected to continuously adjust to his performance and may soon exceed the million mark.

Millionaire thanks to the mega agreement with Nike

However, these sums are not new for the 15-year-old. As early as April 2019 Moukoko cashed in a contract with equipment giant Nike. The long-term deal, also linked to the young striker’s future successes and goals, could bring the offspring of the BVB up to 10 million euros. For the signature alone, there was a hand of money of one million.

Moukoko is expected to earn a lot more from his 18th birthday in two years – let’s assume the acclaimed striker can withstand the enormous pressure and doesn’t disappear from the scene. As an adult, the next pay raise should follow. Last seen with teammate Giovanni Reyna, who – now 18 – earns around 2.5 million euros.
