Even so, AV-Comparatives placed 9 out of 17 antivirus programs in its “Advanced Protection +” ranking, where Avast, AVG, Avira, Bitdefender, ESET, G Data, Kaspersky, Microsoft and Vipre stand out. Why are Panda, F-Secure and Trend Micro not present? Because despite having a protection rate of 100%, it is the browsers that have presented the highest number of false positives, exceeding the average of other antivirus programs by two or more times.
