Recently, Ripple and XRP have seen a lot of adoption and partnerships this year. One of the most significant cases is the inclination of r3 towards XRP. This is because Ripple and r3 were rivals of the industry in which a cause was involved. Here, the case revolved around an agreement outlining that r3 was allowed to buy 5 billion XRPs at the price of $ 0.0085 per unit from the Ripple branch.

The case went on for a while before the conflict could finally be resolved in September 2018. In this regard, the parties involved published a press release stating that the dispute had been resolved in confidence. The press release also stated:

"R3 HoldCo LLC, R3 LLC, Ripple Labs Inc. and XRP II, LLC announce that they have reached an agreement between all pending parties, the terms of the agreement will remain confidential and both parties are anxious to place these disputes behind of them ".

Recently, the Santander service called One Pay FX that uses Ripple's xCurrent also received an innovation award at FIAwards 2018. The community had a huge success due to the involvement of Ripple's blockchain in the victory from Santander.

Eric Khrizman, an XRP follower and a blockchain space follower on the XRP Research Center tweet commented:

"This is beautiful, look at how each entity benefits from one another working as a collective rather than as an individual.

Another Twitter user took a negative tone and wrote:

"Less than an ecosystem more than a toxic swamp?"
