Over the past few months in Colombia, YouTube has been recording how people have turned to the platform to learn new skills, have fun or connect with others.
According to a survey conducted by Talkshoppe, 73% of Colombians believe that YouTube offers them personally relevant content.
This was accompanied by the interest of creators in content development: during the last year in Colombia, the hours of content uploaded to the platform increased by 260%.

Also personal moments from musical artists like Kímberly Loaiza, who made an exciting video for her daughter Kima’s birthday and even videos of more than 4 hours like the grand finale of the Free Fire League.

Music video
Artists of the urban genre, including several Colombians such as Maluma, J Balvin and Karol G, are the protagonists of the ranking of the most viewed music videos of the year. But the success that singer Camilo Echeverry has achieved this year on the platform is also striking, placing three of his songs in the top 10: Tatto (with Rauw Alejandro) Vida de Rico and Favorite.

But in addition, there are also family stories like Los montañeros, a Manizalita family that has conquered social networks and even won an India Catalina Award for its humorous content.
