The version for the new generation of consoles receives The City, which expands the current The Neighborhood

2K Games and Visual Concepts brought some more news from the next generation version of NBA 2K21. This time the focus is on The City, a huge map that takes the already well-known The Neighborhood to another level. Together with four districts, which have their own Affiliations, we have several skyscrapers, a city center and several squares. There is also a mural in honor of former player Kobe Bryant, who died in a plane crash earlier this year.

In an official post, the development team outlined the different areas of the city. First, we have Rookieville, where newbies battle it out to access the larger city; the neighborhoods (with their Affiliations) have several training gyms, as well as several Event Centers, where various events and competitions will be held between the different Affiliations. There is also Garage Hoops, which allows players to enjoy 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and HORSE matches.

But not only the players live in the city … there will be several NPCs, which will give you different objectives and missions. They will offer new content every 4-6 weeks, bringing new missions and rewards.

NBA 2K21 will be released on November 10 for Xbox Series X / S and November 12 for PS5. It is now available for current generation consoles.
