New death
In addition to the 94 additional cases in the region, CIUSSS also detects a new death related to COVID-19, which occurred in a private residence for the elderly (RPA) or in an intermediate resource (RI). Five more cases in Olymel in Princeville

At the Olymel factory in Princeville, five more cases were added to the budget, following the screening that took place this week among the rest of the employees. About a hundred of them had not yet been tested. With these new cases, a total of 100 employees of this factory have hired COVID-19.
As for the school, the Saint-Paul school of Trois-Rivières now has one or more cases of COVID-19 among its staff or students. This is also the case of two schools of the Bois-Francs School Services Center in the Center-du-Québec, namely the Eau-Vive community school and the Le Manège school.
Closure of the two schools in Wemotaci
COVID-19 also prompted Wemotaci’s Atikamekw Council to close the two community schools on Thursday afternoon. The Seskitin and Nikanik schools will be closed for Friday, but will reopen next Monday.
