The regular subway service at King's station is resumed after a bomb, Thursday afternoon.

According to police, officers received a threat Thursday afternoon, just after 3:30 pm and the King subway station was evacuated.

While the police were investigating, the Line 1 service between Bloor-Yonge and Union Station was stopped.

The TTC said resumes regular service just before 16:00.

Anyone with information that can be of help in the investigation is called to call the police.

Meanwhile, the Ottawa police also reported this afternoon that they had responded to more service calls (10+) on email bomb threats to local businesses and people in the Ottawa / Gatineau area, where the sender asks for some coin payment.

At this point, all Ottawa threats were deemed unfounded.
