In the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian state was able to complete the implementation of approximately 14,762 projects, during the period from the inauguration of President El-Sisi until 30/6/2020, at a cost estimated at around £ (2207.3) billion, and around (4164) legitimate projects are being implemented. An estimated cost of (2569.8) billion Egyptian pounds.
Since President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi took responsibility 6 years ago, the health sector has received the lion’s share of the attention and construction from the political leadership and we monitor the state’s most important achievements in improving this system:
Direct huge investments estimated at over £ 120 billion to improve them
The success of a series of initiatives aimed at improving the health of citizens, women and children
– 413,000 urgent surgeries until last March, as part of the presidential initiative for the elimination of waiting lists
Creation and provision of 40 model hospitals
Development of university hospitals (113 university hospitals), an increase of 25 hospitals compared to 2014
– Achieve self-sufficiency in homemade insulin and localize the oncology industry
Start-up and implementation of the global health insurance system in several governorates
More than 2 million treatment decisions have been issued at the expense of the state
– Disseminate the “100 Million Health” initiative to African countries, in collaboration with the World Health Organization
Training of medical personnel in Africa on the model of medical virus scanning and provision of technical support
Sending a series of medical convoys for the president’s initiative to cure one million Africans from HIV C in the countries of Chad and South Sudan
Sending shipments of essential medicines and medical supplies to some countries such as Eritrea and Sudan
– Sending medical convoys to the eye field to measure the visual strength of two thousand children in Eritrea
Send more training convoys to Somalia in the fields of maternity, childcare and emergency medicine
