As soon as the current Oneplus 8T is on the market, there are already the first indications on the design of the next Oneplus 9 Pro. The flagship of the smartphone should arrive in March 2021.

The Oneplus 8T convinced us in the test with a great display, a good camera and the turbo charging function. A few weeks after its release, however, the focus has already returned to the next expected top smartphone from Oneplus. After making the pictures of Oneplus 9, leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, known as Onleaks, has now also shown pictures of the possible Oneplus 9 Pro design.

Oneplus 9 Pro is expected to be equipped with a Quadro camera

Consequently, the Oneplus 9 Pro is expected to have a 6.7-inch curved display, perhaps even 6.55-inch. Oneplus installs the front camera in a hole at the top left of the screen. The back should be glass. At the rear is a slightly protruding rectangular camera unit with up to four lenses. The speakers are at the bottom. The power button is located on the right and the volume rocker on the left.

Overall, the design is reminiscent of a blend of the previous Oneplus 8T and Oneplus 8 Pro versions. The camera unit appears to be based on the Oneplus 8T and Nord series. The 9 Pro seen in the rendered images should still be a prototype. Inhibitorstoffer would like to point out that the details can still be changed before the official launch. Nothing is known about the technical details yet.

On the other hand, the details are apparently already available from the sister model, the Onplus 9. According to the rendered images, this too should have an 8T design. The Oneplus 9’s display is expected to be a flat AMOLED version, as Notebookcheck reports. The refresh rate should be 120 Hertz. A Snapdragon 875 should work under the hood. According to insiders, Oneplus 9 and Oneplus Pro 9 will appear in March 2021.
