Dr Tamer Marei, Undersecretary at the Red Sea Ministry of Health, inspected the central hospital in Al-Qusayr immediately after a bus overturned on Al-Qusayr Road, accompanied by the Director of the Department of Hospitals and the Director of the Emergency Management assistance.

“Maree” inspected the scene of the accident and the cases in the hospital, ascertained their condition and provided them with medical services, as 38 cases of injuries were received after the accident and 2 deaths were taken to the hospital, a corpse.

Ambulances were pushed to the scene of the accident and the degree of readiness in all hospitals was increased to receive any cases, and the emergency response team consisting of surgeons, orthopedists and anesthetic doctors at Safaga Central Hospital and Hurghada General Hospital was transferred to Al-Qusayr hospital to help Al-Qusayr hospital medical team and the number of blood group bags in the hospital.

All cases were dealt with, first aid was given, prescriptions were given, X-rays were taken and necessary tests were done, and the life of a patient who suffered from severe abdominal bleeding after the outbreak of the spleen and an operation was performed immediately for him, and the rest of the cases are now being treated at Al-Qusayr hospital and under observation in stable condition.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health thanked all the medical staff of the Al Qusayr hospital and the emergency response teams, led by the director of the hospital, for their efforts.
