The Blockchain Life 2018 forum ended in St. Petersburg, Russia.
For two days (7 – 8 November), over 5,000 delegates at Expoforum discussed the future of blockchain, cryptocurrencies and technologies, shared methods and experience in building successful projects, trading and mining. The forum also identified the winners of the Blockchain Life Awards 2018!
The main objective of the event was to unite the global crypto-community, teach the public to invest wisely in the blockchain industry and help those who want to create their own project in this area. There is no doubt that the goal has been achieved – interesting speakers, excellent networks, a large-scale exhibition and a cool atmosphere have worked perfectly.
The forum was attended by Asian foundations, crypto dealers, founders of ICO projects, business men, blockchain developers and miners, representatives of Okex, Huobi and Kraken exchanges, as well as creators and top managers of key cryptocurrencies.
Roger Ver of Bitcoin.com and blockchain.info were among the speakers. His speech took place via Skype. Roger talked about how the cryptocurrency will change the world. We are in agreement with him that cryptocurrencies are the future and today they are changing the world economy. Speakers include Martin Kuvandzhiev from Bitcoin Gold, Vyacheslav Bredikhin from Bitmain, Vit Jedlichka from Liberland and other international speakers in the field. In total more than 70 speeches and presentations in two rooms for two days.
The session dedicated to ICO projects deserves special attention: experts have noted that the ICO market is now "in a deplorable state" and start-ups are the cause of this. Most projects are terrible and blockchain technology is not used properly. "You should not think about how to screw a pawn in a stable and collect money on it – you have to do something that is really worth it," said Sergey Chmel, senior partner of MATRIX CIB, in his speech. He also noted that ICO will not die – instead "they will reorganize and move forward, taking something from the venture capital industry".
The exhibition was attended by projects from various sectors: exchanges, exchangers, producers of mining equipment, ICO projects and blockchain. The LH Crypto project, in February this year, completed a sale of tokens with a result of $ 11,000,000, presented their main product: crypto-broker LH-CryptoTheir guests were entertained by the heroes of Show of Crypto Clown.

Not without incidents: during the online voting, a cyber attack occurred in the nomination "Most promising ICO". As a result, the organizers had to cancel the appointment to maintain objectivity.
We took part in the nomination "The Most Promising ICO" and we were very upset when our appointment was canceled.
