Razer is known as a manufacturer of gaming peripherals and laptops. This time, however, the company seems to want to announce its willingness to expand into other categories, through the new Razer Book 13.
The company’s new notebook is light and thin, with a premium design that inspires productivity. Inside is the new processor generally an 11-a Intel Tiger Lake, with Intel Xe graphics. It obviously has enough power for some esports games. We also find two Thunderbolt 4 ports, through which the laptop can connect to a gaming dock.
The Razer Book 13 has an aluminum body with a dedicated “Mercury White” finish for improved scratch protection. Therefore, this laptop marks a change in the company’s approach, the design and color of the device no longer relates to the gaming niche we are used to, but still retains the RGB illuminated keyboard.
The new laptop integrates a 13.4-inch edge-to-edge display with a 16:10 aspect and is available in two variants with FHD (matte screen) or 4K (glossy screen) resolution. The more expensive configuration therefore has a higher resolution, but also a touch screen. All models feature 60Hz touch screens and 178 degree viewing angles. In addition, it integrates stereo speakers with THX Spatial Audio (surround) support, 4 microphones and an HD webcam, plus Windows Hello on board. The trackpad is made of glass, we also have WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1.

Razer offers this laptop in 3 configurations, each with a 55Wh battery and a 65W charger. Apparently, the base model weighs 1.33kg, but models with touch screens weigh 1.4kg. You can see available configurations and prices below:
