Razer is known as a manufacturer of gaming peripherals and laptops. This time, however, the company seems to announce its willingness to expand into other categories, through the new Razer Book 13.
The company’s new laptop is light and thin, with a premium design that inspires productivity. Inside is the new processor generally an 11-a Intel Tiger Lake, with Intel Xe graphics. Sure, it has enough power for some esports games. There are also two Thunderbolt 4 ports through which the laptop can connect to a gaming station.
Razer Book 13 has an aluminum body with a dedicated “Mercury White” finish for improved scratch protection. Hence, this laptop marks a change in the company’s approach, the design and color of the device no longer relates to the niche game we are used to, but still retains the RGB illuminated keyboard.
The new laptop incorporates a 13.4-inch 16: 10-inch edge-to-edge display and is available in two variants with FHD (matte screen) or 4K (glossy screen) resolution. The more expensive configuration therefore has a higher resolution, but also a touch screen. All models feature a 60Hz touch screen and 178 degree viewing angles. In addition, it incorporates stereo speakers with THX Spatial Audio (surround) support, 4 microphones and an HD webcam, plus Windows Hello on board. The trackpad is glass, we also have WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1.

Razer offers this laptop in 3 configurations, each with a 55Wh battery and a 65W charger. Apparently, the base model weighs 1.33kg, but the touchscreen models weigh 1.4kg. You can see available configurations and prices below:
