Remember the Center for Evidence Based Blockchain? They are the ones who released a report in September that found that despite having created a dedicated center, “evidence-based blockchain” was actually quite difficult to find.
CEBB, which was established last year by the British Blockchain Association – “the world’s most influential voice on Blockchain. Promoting Evidence-Based Adoption of Distributed Ledger Technologies ”- he released his report rather seriously Journal of the British Blockchain Association, “the world’s first peer-reviewed Blockchain science magazine ”.
You can read the May 2020 issue here – you’ll see this edition features original research including “About Gender Change, Blockchain, and GDPR” (!) And “Government-led, post-politics and blockchain prefigurative projects” (?!) .
It appears that the CEBB has now set its sights on more majestic pastures. Its president, Dr Naseem Naqvi (who is also the chief editor of the JBBA and president of the British Blockchain Association) appears to have sent Her Majesty the Queen a copy of the latest issue of the JBBA. He posted a copy of his response on his LinkedIn profile (h / t Martin Walker for pointing this out):
We must say that we were also interested to know that Her Majesty was interested to know that the publication is the first research journal on open access blockchain publications available in both print and online.
And let’s hope that perhaps, by the time we’re 94, we too will be able to garner some interest in these issues.
