The Nintendo Amusement Park will open on February 4th

The opening date of Nintendo's amusement park is finally known. The Super Nintendo World will open its doors and start operating on February 4, 2021 in the city of Osaka, Japan.

The park was built by Nintendo in collaboration with universal studies, which competes with Disney in this segment.

To captivate customers and distance themselves from the competition, the park will present the theme of Mário's games but will also bring "play" into space. That is, Switch users can take their console to the park and receive a bracelet.

And through the two pieces of equipment, they can collect virtual coins from Mário and then use them in different ways, for example, on the roller coaster of Bowser's castle.

These roller coasters are one of the highlights of the Super Nintendo World park and will feature augmented reality technology. Visitors will wear a hat that doubles as a headset in which virtual elements can be seen along the way.

The trolley wheels become commands that can be used to use the coins obtained as power-ups or increased defense against attacks during the spin.

Nintendo also promises that every augmented reality adventure in a ride on this roller coaster will be different from the previous one.

In February next year we will certainly still be in the midst of a pandemic, but the organization promises an increase in health measures, implemented in collaboration with the health authorities. Another preventative measure is that, in the first few weeks, the park will only allow entry at half its maximum capacity.
