New OPPO Find X 5G to Use Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 – Other OPPO Phones Using Snapdragon Platform

OPPO Reno 5G with Snapdragon 855 was the first 5G smartphone available on the European market in May 2019. In June 2019, OPPO, in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies and Ericsson, won the award for “The best development of the 5G network in Europe” thanks to OPPO Reno 5G.

This year, OPPO launched the 5G compatible series Find X2, Reno 3 and Reno 4. All three phones are supported by the Snapdragon mobile platform. The collaboration between OPPO and Qualcomm Technologies is constantly expanding. The two companies are working on developing a wide range of smart products supported by the Snapdragon platform. These include 5G CPE routers and OPPO smartwatches.

To accelerate the commercialization of 5G in global markets, OPPO and Qualcomm Technologies have been constantly working to test 5G programs with leading global network operators. In December 2019, OPPO made its first DSS call (Dynamic spectrum sharing) of the industry in collaboration with Ericsson, Qualcomm Technologies, Swisscom and Telstra.

In July of this year, OPPO helped develop the UK’s first autonomous 5G (SA) network in partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, Ericsson and Vodafone.
