Dr Mohamed Abu Al-Ela, a doctor of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that Mohamed Salah suffers from mild symptoms of the virus, and that he will remain in Egypt until he recovers, which is at least a week.

On Friday, the Egyptian Football Association announced that Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool player, had been infected with the Corona virus.

“Muhammad suffers from mild symptoms and will remain isolated in Egypt until his sample turns negative,” Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Ela.

Dr Abu Al-Ela said the isolation protocol in Egypt is seven days.

When asked if “Salah” had contracted the virus during his brother’s marriage or not, he replied by saying: “Nobody knows because we don’t know everything about the virus, maybe yes or no”.

The national team doctor underlined the interest of the Egyptian state represented by the Ministries of Health, Youth and Sports, and the Football Association in the case of “Salah” and his entourage, and everyone’s desire to help.
