The mother of Eduardo Ferro Rodrigues, president of the Assembly of the Republic, died on Monday morning at the age of 101.
Marieta Ferro Rodrigues had been ill for some time, died of natural death. Paço de Arcos firefighters were even called to help the elderly woman, but death was eventually declared at the residence.
