In a statement today, the ministry said that the minister reviewed the hospital’s technical drawings with the company implementing the development work, while listening to a detailed explanation of all the work that had been completed, as well as the final equipment of the networks. of the hospital (sewer, electricity and gas) in preparation for trial operation within the global health insurance system..
The Minister stressed the swift completion of all works in the hospital according to the specified dates and in accordance with the standards of the General Authority for the Accreditation and Supervision of the New Global Health Insurance in construction and equipment works.
The Minister wanted to inspect the various departments of the hospital, inspecting the renal dialysis rooms, which had been developed in the hospital, the cardiac catheterization department, the sterilization rooms, as well as the outpatient clinics and the laboratory department, and directed the completion of the general coordination of the hospital site..
The minister indicated that the hospital includes 78 beds, two operating theaters, 9 dialysis machines, 8 nurseries for children, a laboratory, a radiology department, a blood collection bank, a cardiac catheterization department and 11 outpatient clinics and provides medical services within the new system in various medical specialties..
It is interesting to note that the Governorate of South Sinai is among the five governorates of the first phase, namely: “Ismailia, Suez, Luxor, Aswan and South Sinai”, in which the registration of citizens has begun since last October 1st; In preparation for the implementation of the new global health insurance, in addition to the Port Said governorate, where the system was launched last July.
