The Minister of Health: AIDS treatment is 100% covered and treatment is free

Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, confirmed that AIDS is a global problem that can affect anyone in the world and added that the treatment protocols for the disease have been updated to the latest version.

The Minister of Health made it clear that the ministry started fighting AIDS 25 years ago, noting that Egypt is committed to implementing global and international strategies to combat the disease, and is also determined to achieve development goals. sustainable with rapid delivery of care for patients diagnosed with the disease.

This took place during the celebration of the 32nd International AIDS Day by the Ministry of Health and Population with the slogan “Towards global solidarity and sustainable coverage of services”.
