The team behind the Mail app continues to work on new features. While they should work on better optimization first, something the community complains about at times. However, it now appears that they are working on new shortcuts. Like the people of Lumia updatesIt looks like they are working on something new.
The Mail app offers direct access to Office apps
Just as we have access to Calendar, To Do, and Contacts, there seem to be more shortcuts on the way. The idea is to have quick access to the most common Office applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Microsoft seems you are working on new applications for Windows 10X. In the meantime, we don’t know what they’re working on besides these new icons for Windows 10. The Redmond icons will have to make a complete change.
We hope these changes are up to the task and the revamp of system applications is complete. We’ve had a very similar design for five years and it’s time to refresh the look and feel of Windows 10.
