The long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 video game, announced in 2012, has been postponed again, scheduled for a few weeks after the launch of the new next-gen consoles from Microsoft and Sony.
According to the BBC, the new release date is December 10, after developer CD Projekt Red put his employees to work six days a week to be able to release the game in November. Initially, the game was supposed to appear in April 2020, but has since suffered three moments of delay.
“The biggest challenge for us right now is selling a game on the current generation of consoles, the next generation of consoles and PCs, which requires nine versions to be prepared and tested,” said bosses Adam Badowski and Marcin Iwinski. . “We agree that it seems unrealistic when someone says 21 days can make a difference in such a massive game, but it really happens.”
