The huggable phone becomes reality: Oppo X 2021 is officially presented! Here are the features of Oppo X 2021

A few years ago, huggable phone concepts or expanded phone concepts were just a dream. However, with the spread of folding smartphones, especially with the development of technologies for folding screens, the possibility of manufacturers to produce roll-up screen phones has increased. Samsung, Huawei or Oppo were rumored to be working on phones with such technology, but it has stopped. As a matter of fact, Oppo made that dream come true by presenting Oppo X 2021 at the Oppo Inno Day 2020 event organized today.

WINDING THE SMART PHONE WITH OPPO X 2021 BECOMES REAL

The Oppo X 2021 has a typical 6.7-inch AMOLED foldable display. However, the phone has no folding points. With its motorized system, the phone, which expands laterally with respect to the frame, turns into a 7.4-inch tablet. In other words, the phone screen stretches like chewing gum.

Although the technical characteristics of the phone are not yet known, it is possible to see that there are 3 cameras on the back of the Oppo X 2021 in the images shared by Oppo. It is not known when the huggable phone will go on sale. Because for now the phone looks like a concept phone.

OPPO AR GLASS 2021 ANNOUNCED

OPPO AR Glass 2021 is already rivaling Apple Glass Augmented Reality glasses, which are thought to be made by Apple. AR Glass 2021 has ToF sensors and spatial positioning capabilities. The glasses, which can detect hand movements and execute voice commands, carry a 90-inch screen over the person’s glasses. However, the glasses cannot be used as a standalone device.

The smart glasses are powered by the Oppo Find X2 series devices. Oppo AR Glass 2021 is a conceptual product, just like Oppo X 2021. So it is not clear when the device will go on sale. But it looks like both products may become a reality in the next year.
